As summer winds down, and our beloved peach season closes out--hopefully you have a case in the freezer--we know who's running in our state and local races next year. And it's not that we don't have some electoral business to attend to this year. But the JeffCo recall isn't what I mean by rematch.
What I mean is that my friend and former State Senator Rachel Zenzinger is in it to win it in JeffCo's Senate District 19, the seat she lost last year to Tea Party gun fetishist Laura Woods.
As many compelling races as there are next year--obviously one stands out--this is the one closest to me and the one I'll be devoting either the most or hopefully second most resources to, depending on how this other obvious thing shakes out. :-)
Aside from The Big P, who are you most excited to support with your time and efforts? Is it the awesome Morgan Carroll, who is challenging Mike Coffman in CD6? Is it Senator Bennet, who, despite being a first order Blue Dog, will certainly face some awful nutbag? Or is it your own state Representative or Senator? Speak up!
