I’m going to be away from my computer at a retirement/investment dinner presentation so this is primarily an opportunity for you folks to talk amongst yourselves.  My wife and I attend these when they’re offered because it’s a free dinner at a rather nice restaurant we probably wouldn’t choose to go to on our own and there are sometimes some useful nuggets of knowledge in and around the “we’ll manage your money so you’ll be taken care of in your old age.”  I think one of my questions will be around preserving capital in the face of a Trumpocalypse to the stock market.

I still have not heard yet if our Caffeinating Liberally will be on the 22nd in competition with the Science March, but I’m betting the date will be pushed back a day.  I do expect a decision by next week’s column — I’ll let you know when I hear about it.

I look forward to seeing what you’re discussing when I get back late in the evening.  Please post notices of protests, marches, meetings and the like so that we can continue getting Kossacks involved.  As always, if someone wishes to write their own post for this, I’m always looking for guest writers.  I will make mention here, Thinking Fella has been writing some terrific photo diaries in the last month (albeit for Utah, not Colorado) and I encourage folks to find and enjoy them.

From MoveOn.org Civic Action Network:

1127 Sherman Street if you couldn’t make out the address.  This just came to my inbox.  You can’t click there for details — I had to make this a .jpg because the original was black text on that royal blue background.

Senator Bennet has said he’ll vote for cloture, but also vote against Gorsuch.  Such a strong Dem <cobusgh>.
