Michigan Kos: Where Are You Marching on Saturday 4/22?

So many opportunities to march tomorrow in Michigan! Where are you planning to go? It’s looking like another amazing, impressive day of resistance across the country to the anti-science, anti-intellectual, anti-regulatory policies promoted by the illegitimate administration now holding sway. Let’s get out there and show the world where we stand!

Today’s post (my apologies for missing yesterday; I was simply out of steam) features the logos and locations for the Science Marches in Michigan. I plan to attend both the Ann Arbor march and the Ypsilanti march, details below the jump. But there are FIFTEEN marches across the state! Check out what’s near you via this resource for satellite marches in Michigan. (Isn’t it cute, “satellite”?)

Look at ‘em all!

It’s on our wish list to have signs, badges, and banners widely distributed so that Michigan Kossacks can find each other easily. Tomorrow, if my Daily Kos badges arrive in time, I’ll have one on. But I’ll also be wearing a Daily Kos (“I Unite Community”) t-shirt, and I’ll be carrying a Washtenaw County Democratic Party sign; it’ll be hard to miss me, I hope. Feel free to come on over to introduce yourself! The easiest place to find me will be in Ypsi at EMU’s campus. We’ll meet at 2:45 at the Chavez Fountain behind Welch Hall.

Join me after the jump for a few march details. Each one will have terrific speakers and resolute, committed, impassioned marchers. Rise up!
