With all the bouncing back and forth to various destinations, Kansas, Antigua, Kansas, Missouri, Kansas again, it’s tough to keep track of what’s going on here in Colorado. Still, I did see on 9news.com that US Senator Cory Gardner (that’s tough to type) will be holding three town halls tomorrow:
The first is from 7:30 to 9 a.m. in room A-110 at Pikes Peak Community College located at 5675 S. Academy Blvd in Colorado Springs. The second is from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the University School Auditorium located at 6519 18th street in Greeley. The third is from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Colorado Christian University located 8787 W. Alameda Avenue in Lakewood. They same come early, as they’re expecting crowds.
Recently, he and US Senator Michael Bennet, along with Governor Hickenlooper and Representative Scott Tipton had a town hall in part to discuss the EPA and the mine outflow into the Animas River that took place. www.9news.com/…
Michael Bennet had a town hall in Aspen today, with the coverage from the Aspen Times at www.aspentimes.com/….
Ken Buck, Representative from Colorado’s 4th district had a town hall on the 4th of August. A writeup can be found at www.lamarledger.com/….
Jared Polis has multiple town halls coming up — the schedule is up on polis.house.gov/…. He has two for August 20th and three for August 26th.
I couldn’t find any listings for a Doug Lamborn or Diana Degette town hall.
Ed Perlmutter has a grocery store appearance (his format for meeting constituents) on September 9th. His event schedule is at perlmutter.house.gov/….
Mike Coffman had a town hall August 1st. The Denver Post writeup is at www.denverpost.com/…. His event calendar is at coffman.house.gov/….
That’s what I’ve got — please tell me what’s on your mind.
Also, if you have something you want written about, you are welcome to take over this diary a time or two or you can suggest comments to me for the next topic. I often wait until Mondays to put this together, so I’m usually searching for ideas.
Next Monday, however, I’ll see what I can do to talk eclipse. I won’t be in Colorado — I’ll be in Missouri with my wife and sister to see the eclipse there (weather willing), so I’d love to hear stories from Coloradoans about what you did to see the eclipse.
