As some of you may know, the Colorado State Open Thread is supposed to appear at 6PM every Wednesday evening or order to provide people who are interested in any aspect of Colorado a place to meet, to share comments and to be social. The first four authors of these Open Threads have lives, however, which sometimes interrupt being able to post a diary every fourth week. One of our editors, Leftcandid, had work for the Bernie campaign which took over his life in February through now. Similarly, Thinking Fella has been active in local and state politicking in the Four Corners area and for all I know, the same might be going on for Thanetokephaloides in Colorado Springs.
I, well, generally, I have no life other than what you help me maintain. Well, that plus my family (Mrs. Colotim and two woozles). And my garden/yard. And my smoker/bbq/cooking. And planning for my Crawfish Boil on June 4th (let me know in the comments down below if you’d like to come so I can send you an evite — last year we had about seven or so Kossacks and many are planning on coming back).
So anyway, I have no time to be able to post these notices for the next couple of weeks. I’ll be able to do so again on May 4th, but I’d appreciate it if I had some volunteers to post these on April 20th, 27th and dates into the future. It can be as elaborate as a full-on diary to provoke discussion or as simple as the one-liner “Floor’s open — what do you want to discuss?”. If anyone would like to be added to the list of writers for the open thread list, you’ll need to Kosmail Navajo so she can get you added.
