This week I'd like to promote the campaign of our own GwenM, Gwen Markham, for mayor of Novi, MI. Gwen has been a Novi City Council member for the past four years, serving her community well and becoming a known quantity to her constituents. Seeking the mayoralty is the next logical step.
I'll provide some background and context after the orange interchange. But first I'd like to make sure you see this.
Her home page is announcing TWO key ways to help right now. (Please click here to read the details.) By donations, of course--all political campaigns need funds. But also with canvassing help. Their next big push is scheduled for Saturday, October 31st. Can you make it to Novi that day, the last Saturday before the election, to help out? They will meet at Novi United Methodist Church, 41671 W. 10 Mile Rd., Novi 48375 at 10:00 a.m.
In an email from several days ago, Gwen told me that they've distributed over 20,000 pieces of campaign literature, most of it at individual doors. It's all about turnout, and YOU can help bring people out to the polls.
