The campaign season is heating up. Last week on Thursday the Secretary of State for Colorado determined who is in and who is not for an official list of the candidates who have made it onto the June 26th primary ballot. I don’t know when you might start paying attention here in Colorado or around the country, but now that the state conventions have ended, we will find out within days who’s going to be on the ballots that actually count (waiting upon appeals on the Republican side). Here are the candidates the SOS has said are on the Primary ballot.

Last week I opened up a request for a warm-weather gathering in the Open Thread diary, but there were two suggested dates, but no locations, hosts or ideas for what to do. I was a bit disappointed, but there is certainly room down below here to make any suggestions now that you may have had a week to think about it. Please do so. It’s nice to meet fellow Kossacks in the flesh. Trust me.
On a different note, there was a recommended diary about bumper stickers to help Kossacks help Democrats get elected. I ordered ten bumper stickers, and once I get notified that they’re in, I will let Rob in Vermont know of any Colorado Kossacks who have asked me to have them sent one of the stickers. If you let Rob know directly, that’s fine, but please don’t double-notify, or you risk having two sent your way. And then you’ll have to find a second vehicle to put them on, like a police car or an ambulance (just kidding!). Anyway, we need some help getting more Colorado Democrats elected, and those bumper stickers are a great idea.
As always, whatever you’d like to post about is fine — this is a place for whatever is of interest to you.
